Bike Waiter, at your service - San Antonio Express-News

Things start getting crazy in the offices of Bike Waiter even before the lunch hour, with the business handling a barrage of orders from customers for restaurant meals.
On weekends, the Bike Waiter's website and phones can stay busy even after midnight, when the company fields orders from downtown dwellers and convention-goers.
The Bike Waiter LLC, launched in September 2011, is a twist on the business of delivering meals to customers.
Instead of deliveries coming from a single restaurant, Bike Waiter lets clients order from about 35 restaurants, many of them downtown, said owners Shane Broussard, 38, and Heather Monroe, 37.
“We are a marketing company first,” Broussard said. He tells restaurant owners: “If we sell your food, we keep a percentage and send you the rest.”
Rather than delivering by car, which most restaurants do, the couple has focused on bike deliveries within 3 miles of the restaurant at which the order's placed.
